Cody Bowen joined Diverge, a subsidiary of Merge Urban Development, as the General Maintenance Technician for the Brio Building, our 60-unit apartment community in Oshkosh, WI and North Side Yard, our 85-unit apartment community in Stevens Point, WI. He travels between the two property locations to perform general maintenance and repairs, troubleshoot and solve any issues that arise, and ready units for move-in and move-out. Cody has many more responsibilities such as helping develop, implement, and manage processes for the maintenance team, coordinating day-to-day tasks with vendors and maintenance, and providing support on new projects. He also manages Diverge Maintenance Technicians and educates them on the effective use of property management systems, prepares proposals, estimates, and prioritizes capital improvements for Informational Technology Projects.

Between his love for problem solving and his past experience in property management, Cody is a wonderful asset for our residents. He has a well rounded set of skills including computer programming, plumbing and electrical repair/replacement, drywall repair, landscaping, and more. Having the ability to listen to residents, see what needs attention, and figuring out the best solution is why we are excited he is on our team.

You know Cody is passionate about his career because one of his hobbies is working on updating his house in Oshkosh, where he lives with his partner Willie. Cody loves hiking, camping, cross-country road trips, and national parks. When Willie and him get the chance, they love to be around friends and family, and spending time in Chicago.
