In 2019, Kelsey Hargens joined the Merge Urban Development team as the Creative Director and brought along 10+ years of design expertise. Over the past few years with Merge, she has created unique design elements for each Merge project’s that helped to elevate each brand and public recognition through a new aesthetic. Kelsey’s ability to take raw ideas and turn them into one cohesive brand is one of the skills that sets her apart from other designers.
After creating the initial look and feel, Kelsey designs and manages each project’s website, print and digital marketing materials, social media accounts, and more. Kelsey works very closely with the team to compile the editorial calendars, marketing plans and messaging to the public and ensures that everything is cohesive. She has been an intricate part in the kickoff of promotion and leasing efforts for all the Merge developments in Iowa and Wisconsin.
When she’s not working, Kelsey enjoys daily walks with her Goldendoodle, Louie, traveling and cheering on the Iowa State Cyclones & Oklahoma Sooners. She also has a love for baking, puzzling, interior design and spending time with friends and family.
